Efrem Zimbalist Jr. a pipe smoker......?

Watching a movie tonight that my wife recorded the other day. it is
"the killing mind", filmed in 1991 with Stephanie Zimbalist. My wife
asked me who she was and I told her who her father was. She did not
know him either, so I googled her dad. I came up with a picture of him
smoking a pipe. Don't know if it was from a movie or what, but he
looked kinda natural with it. I would link the pic, but don't know how.

I haven't heard of Efrem Zimbalist Jr. in a looong time. I remember
him best from his role in "77 Sunset Strip". I believe he was a pipe
guy.

Yes he is/was and god I feel old now.
I grew up watching him on TV, he was big back then.
He was on 77 Sunset Strip and The FBI among other things.

Pic #2 is the one that I saw. The other two look as if his character
was a pipe smoker. I hope this was something he brought to the
character. He looks so natural at it, doe'nt he?
