I've recently expeanded my repertoire this year from being a strictly
aromatic smoker to now enjoying Virginias (especially the McClelland
variety) and even some English blends.
One thing I have noticed: now matter what blends I try - from Three
Nuns to St. James Woods to anything and everyting in between: if it
has Perique, I get a bad reaction to it. It can range from a feeling
of the blahs to a headache to (once) nausea.
Some other friends of mine who, like myself enjoy the richness of
Virginias, also can't take perique.
Anyone else have this happen to them? Anyone want to venture a guess
why?
It's amazing: no matter what the tobacco is, if it has Perique in it I
just get sick from it.
Obviously the answer is not to smoke any perique blends; I'm just
wondering if others get this reaction....
